 Artist Biographies Ms. Goldie (Trina’ DeShoun Caples) was born in Chicago, IL. Ms. Goldie had been singing with the Mercy Seat M. B. Church Choir from the age of 6. Here she led many songs and song many solos. Ms. Goldie would look for the opportunity to sing anywhere that she could. She song in churches, clubs, and in school. Ms. Goldie won several singing competitions before she moved to Mississippi in 1987. In Mississippi Ms. Goldie stayed close to what felt best to her, which was gospel music. Although she only joined two choirs, she led many songs with many different choirs. Ms. Goldie also had the opportunity to sing background on stage for artist like Andre' Lee, LaKesha, Mack "Big Dog" Davis & B.J. Miller. She song background vocals in the studio for artist such as Andre' Lee, Sorrento Ussery, Bobby Joe Lewis, & John Haley. Well now that Ms. Goldie has started wetting her feet in Southern soul, she wants more. She recorded and co-wrote her first single “Leave That Outside Man Alone” in 2007 with Andre' Lee. Ms. Goldie now feels that with the help of God and Andre’ Lee she will work toward being one of the hottest female Southern Soul artist. Ms. Goldie will be releasing her first CD in 2009. So once again, get ready, because Ms. Goldie is already, ready!
